Food safety has become a necessity for consumers, food producers, quality control devices at the country level and their international trade. In view of the importance of food and its direct relationship to human health established; the Department of Food Safety and Health, in order to keep up with the latest scientific techniques and developments in this field.

  1. 1/ Qualifying students at the undergraduate and postgraduate level in the field of food hygiene and safety.
  2. 2/ Graduation of healthy cadres that contribute to control of food borne diseases.
  3. 3/ Participation in the provision of health services in the field of health and safety of food to contribute to the promotion of public health at the individual, family and community level.
